Privacy Policy

Effective October 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Click Interval handles information when you use the Click Interval desktop application, its beta access service, update service, website, and support form.

1. Information handled by the desktop application

Click Interval accesses mouse and keyboard input when you use its auto-clicker, global shortcuts, macro recording, or macro playback features. If you use a microphone-related feature, the application also accesses audio from the microphone you select. Macro contents, recorded input, microphone audio, settings, and saved files are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to the Click Interval beta access service.

2. Information sent to the beta access service

The beta build sends a randomly generated installation identifier, your computer name, the installed app version, and first-seen and last-seen timestamps. The service also stores whether that installation is permitted, temporarily restricted, or locked. This information is used to operate the beta, prevent unauthorized access, diagnose version problems, and end access when a test build is retired.

3. Updates and network information

Click Interval contacts its update service to check for new versions and may download an update after you choose to install it. As with most internet services, hosting providers may process standard connection information such as an IP address, request time, requested URL, and browser or app user-agent for delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, and security.

4. Website and support requests

The Click Interval website does not use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising. If you submit the support form, the information you provide—such as your name, email address, and message—is used to respond to your request and investigate the issue you report. Do not include passwords, payment details, private macro contents, or other sensitive information in a support request.

5. How information is used

Information is used only to provide and secure Click Interval, manage beta eligibility, deliver updates, respond to support requests, investigate failures or abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Click Interval does not sell personal information and does not use it for targeted advertising.

6. Service providers and disclosure

Click Interval uses Netlify to host the website, server functions, beta access records, and support submissions. Information may be processed by that provider as needed to deliver those services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a transfer of the project, subject to this Policy.

7. Retention

Beta access records are retained while needed to operate and secure the beta and for a reasonable period afterward. Support messages are retained while needed to answer the request, maintain support history, and protect against abuse. Local macros, settings, and recordings remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the application.

8. Your choices

You can stop future collection by uninstalling Click Interval. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your installation or support request by using the support form. We may need enough information to verify and locate the relevant record before completing a request.

9. Security

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect information. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should avoid recording sensitive input in macros or sending it through support.

10. Younger users

Click Interval is a general-purpose utility. If local law requires parental or guardian consent for you to use the application or provide personal information, use it only with that consent. Parents or guardians may contact us regarding a younger user's information through the support form.

11. International processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their privacy and security obligations apply wherever processing occurs.

12. Policy changes

This Policy may be updated when Click Interval's features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised, and material changes may also be communicated through the application or website.

13. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, use the Click Interval support form.
